RVSM Course

RVSM course

Aerogrips RVSM course presents the concepts necessary for the operation in this airspace, contemplating the normal and contingency procedures to be observed, the applicable phraseology and the completion of flight plans, among several other topics that aim to enable the crew to take advantage of the many benefits associated with operations in RVSM space with operation safety.

Goal

RVSM aims to reduce minimum vertical separation between aircraft between flight level 290 and 410, inclusive, from 2,000ft (VSM) to 1,000ft (RVSM), resulting in better air traffic management and providing more practicality, speed and efficiency. civil aviation operations while maintaining adequate levels of flight safety.

Before operating in RVSM airspace, however, it is essential to know some details of that airspace. The required systems and their utilization, notifications on the flight level, transitional airspaces, the use of TCAS, among others, are points that must be analyzed more carefully because they have particularities in RVSM environment. In addition, operators must comply with a number of specific requirements relating to crews and aircraft, including their maintenance, and to obtain the necessary operational approval in accordance with applicable local regulations.

These aspects are addressed throughout the course in a clear and objective manner.
